Es Juez Federal de Argentina desde hace más de treinta años. Actualmente es titular del Juzgado Federal en lo Criminal y Correccional nº 2 de Morón, en la provincia de Buenos Aires. En su recorrido académico, se desempeñó como docente titular en los cursos de Derecho Penal y Política Criminal en la Universidad de Morón, y en 2006 fue Asesor Académico en Derecho Penal del Consejo de la Magistratura de la Provincia de Buenos Aires.
